Single school visit to Inverness

The second week in November saw the team head past Loch Lomond, through Glencoe and along the East side of Loch Ness for a single school visit to Cauldeen Primary School in Iverness. Due to it being a five hour drive, even from central Scotland, it meant travelling the day before in order to make a 9am start at the school. The autumnal weather revealed some glorious foliage on the way (as pictured) and as with most of our travelling to remote communities, was a thoroughly enjoyable drive. The visit involved a full day of age-related variations on our Solar System workshop, and even saw Chris chat to 50+ 4-year-old nursery pupils about astronomy. The return trip happened the same day and involved a drive home mostly in the dark.
