Penultimate visit to the Isle of Arran

The last but one trip of the AfRIS project took Chris to the Isle of Arran for a single school visit. Although the island was not far from home, the one ferry a day into Lochranza meant that he needed to come the day before and leave the day after. The actual school visit to Shiskine Primary school took place on the 26th November, a day beset with driving rain, but blue skies of the following morning (pictured above) showed Arran in a very good light. The visit programme saw an even split between the younger P1-3 class and the older P4-7 class, although the final event of the day saw them all come back together. No community event this time, so it was back to the accommodation in Brodick on a rainy night, and then a morning to explore ahead of the return ferry.
